HCAHPS Information

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will begin public reporting of inpatient hospital care experiences in 2008 with the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) Survey. Get the latest information from CMS here.

CG-CAHPS Information

The Clinician and Group CAHPS (CG-CAHPS) survey is a standardized tool to measure patient perceptions of care provided by a physician in an office setting.

HH-CAHPS Information

The Home Health CAHPS (HH-CAHPS) survey is currently in development. When completed, it will be a standardized tool to measure patient perceptions of care provided by Medicare and Medicaid certified Home Health Care Agencies.
